You would call it Drama...
But every Video call is the happiest part of my day
because you are with me
and the saddest
because you are not.

You would call it Drama...
But sometimes, I want to reach into that screen
and just pull you out
so I can have you close to me

But 2 years feel more than 20
and yet time is NEVER enough

But every time I step into that airport
feels like detention
and stepping out of it
like finding the Milo truck

But you make me love myself more
Question myself more and challenge myself more.

But it feels like the Universe spent years collecting my wants and needs
and then building you to those very specifications.

You are worth the wait and denials
   worth the monthly meltdowns
   worth the uncertainty
